from Glendalough to Wicklow

Today we had our first trip within the International Culture- a.k.a. Erasmus-Society. We went to a pretty nice place south from Dublin - Glendalough ('the valley of the two lakes')
Honestly there were just some old ruins and an old cemetery but the surroundings were very beautiful - maybe a little spooky
We enjoyed not only the flora also the fauna
After leaving the old ground we started up to Wicklow. After a rollercoaster like drive through the mountains, while nearly everybody was sleeping, we just settled down on the beach and let the day pass by... with several Guinness and some Rum-Coke of course :)

Final destination Tramway Court

I hope this will be my last movement here in Dublin. The internet connection is still not 100% working but better than nothing. So I try to manage it to give my reports a little more often...

This weekend was so exhausting. On Friday we have been to the city centre to the Trinity Pavilion and enjoyed the 2,- Beer offer pretty good, subsequent to that we found a good old freind of mine - Jägermeister - and that killed me. Thanks to German liquor!
Next day after 3hrs of sleep the mess continiued and I got to know "Kalimotxo" - actual it's just redwine and coke, but combined with stupid teenage drinking games it's killing. Anyway, we had a nice party again in this student accomodation and even less of sleep. But as always it was worth killing the Sunday therefor... Posted by Picasa
